Exporting charging products means navigating a stack of certifications. Here is what each mark actually covers.
Europe: CE, RoHS, EMC
CE marks conformity with EU safety directives; RoHS restricts hazardous substances like lead and cadmium; EMC confirms the product does not interfere with other electronics. All three are mandatory for EU market access.
USA: FCC
The FCC regulates electromagnetic emissions of electronic products sold in the United States. Chargers and cables with chips both need FCC testing.
UK: UKCA
Post-Brexit, the UK requires UKCA marking, replacing CE for goods placed on the UK market.
Battery products: MSDS & UN38.3
Power banks additionally require MSDS documentation and UN38.3 transport testing for air freight. Every BEARKOO power bank ships with these documents.
Documentation for buyers
Ask your supplier for certificates matching your exact model and factory name — generic certificates are a red flag at customs.
